Reference service is available at your local library's Circulation Desk. Staff members are available to provide reference assistance during all hours the library is open. You may also call your local MRLS member library's main number for telephone reference service, or complete an online form to send us an email with your question. Please keep in mind that telephone and email reference services are best suited for short-answer factual questions. If you have a question that requires more research, please come to the library so a staff member can help you in person.
Each MRLS branch library has its own print Reference and Genealogy Collections. Reference materials are non-circulating, so that frequently used sources are always available in the building for staff and patrons to consult. You may also access GALILEO, an initiative of the University System of Georgia, from our Public Access Computers to search an online collection of databases containing thousands of full-text magazine articles. GALILEO is also available from home to anyone who has a PINES library card.

You may want to start your information search by consulting MRLS' web links. There you will find links to topical websites organized by subject category.

Search local, regional and national online resources for job openings and advice on skills like resume writing and interviewing.
