The Mountain Regional Library System has genealogy materials primarily for the three counties it serves - Fannin, Towns, and Union. However, we also own materials relating to several surrounding counties and states, including periodicals, census materials, microfilm census records, locally collected items, and books. Genealogy materials are never loaned, but may be used inside the library.

In addition to printed materials, you may use the Ancestry.com database through GALILEO at any public library in Georgia. You may also find the following websites of interest.
