Fund Raising

Annual Book & Bake Sale

Each year in August the Friends holds a Book & Bake sale at the Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris. Donations of books are accepted at Mountain Regional and Towns County Libraries at any time during the year. Donations of baked good are accepted the days of the sale. All proceeds of the sale are used to further the goals of the two libraries.

Other Activities

Occasionally during the year raffles are conducted for additional fund raisers. Items that have been raffled include a basket of books and goodies, a beautiful patriotic red, white and blue stained glass heart and a photo collage donated by Heirloom Images of Blairsville.

In the past few years, FOLTC has also conducted successful book sales to celebrate National Library Week in April, Friends of the Library Social Events for book lovers, and silent auctions of collectibles leading up to their book sales.
