All of us at FCPL are very pleased to announce that thanks to the Fannin County construction project that added a new exterior entrance to the library, the Fannin County Public Library will be able to resume evening and Saturday hours for the convenience of our patrons. Beginning on Tuesday, July 20th, FCPL will be open until 7:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays!
The Fannin County Public Library is located at 400 West Main Street in Blue Ridge, Georgia. FCPL is on the first floor of the Fannin County Courthouse next to the Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association and a short walk from historic downtown Blue Ridge and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Come browse FCPL's collection of popular fiction, Science Fiction/Fantasy and Young Adult materials, DVDs and audiobooks, and the William Diehl Collection, created by the Friends of the Fannin County Public Library in honor of the prolific novelist from Woodstock, Georgia. There are 18 Public Access Computers at FCPL, with broadband access to the Internet and Georgia's virtual library of online databases, GALILEO. You will need your PINES library card to sign in to a computer; please view our computer services page for more details. Free round-the-clock public wireless service is also available for those with appropriately equipped mobile devices - a PINES account is not necessary to connect. In addition, there are 2 computers with games for young children, and there is no sign-up necessary to use them.

Fannin County Public Library hosts book-signings by authors of local and regional interest, poetry readings and other adult programs. There are also fun events for everyone, like Movies under the Stars presented at the Blue Ridge City Park across from the Library.
